I am a photographer and filmmaker whose work explores themes of home, belonging, and memory. Rooted in analog process, I primarily work with medium and large format film cameras, embracing the tactile nature of darkroom printing and alternative process. My work often situates the body within spaces, natural or constructed, to examine how landscapes shape self-perception and how personal history is embedded in place.
Influenced by my upbringing in Hawaii and a layered relationship with home, my practice is both meditative and spontaneous-- balancing control with surrender. Whether still images or moving, my work reflects on the tension between permanence and transience, presence and absense.
